Why does a therapist need a dental microscope?

The human eye is not able to see the condition of the root canals in the oral cavity as accurately as possible and how to work effectively so as not to affect the healthy area of the tooth. Therefore, our therapists are armed with modern microscopes that help:

  • in diagnostics: to identify carious lesions, cysts, additional root canals;
  • in treatment: to effectively clean teeth, remove infected tissue, seal, and restore.

What does it give the patient?

Time: effective diagnostics equals a quick solution to the problem.
Understanding: the patient receives a detailed picture of the condition of the affected area and options for solving the problem.
Comfort: the doctor works minimally invasively, performing manipulations only on the affected areas, preserving the healthy parts of the tooth.

The availability of such a technique is extremely important when the dentist is faced with the issue of re-treating a patient. Given that there are a lot of such cases, the doctor must also diagnose what exactly filled the canals and remove the remnants of the previous filling.

With the help of a microscope, you can see the areas of the tooth that are in demand: cracks, additional canals, tooth perforation.

All the information collected shortens the patient’s path from the initial visit to a complete solution of the problem.
This is the main indicator for our clinic.
