Digital 3D scanning in orthopedic treatment

NASA has learned how to shoot down asteroids in space, Ukrainian police officers shoot down kamikaze drones themselves, but what about dentists?
Do they graze the hindquarters?

Don’t even think that innovation is not present in this publication. We present to you a digital scanner for orthopedic treatment planning.

We bet you are familiar with the procedure of making a plaster cast of teeth. Someone had a mini-cast made during filling, and someone is familiar with the procedure thanks to the installation of crowns. However, this method is significantly outdated.

Gypsum mass, which was used to create such impressions, is subject to deformation already during taking measurements. And any minimal deviation from the desired shape makes it impossible to fit the future prosthesis, veneer, crown, etc.

Our digital scanner works like a powerful camera. The orthopedist scans the required area of the jaw and instantly receives a 3D image on the computer. Such a three-dimensional model is sent to the laboratory without wasting time. A dental technician uses it to design an individual orthopedic prosthesis. This method eliminates the possibility of human factors or any other errors in the production of veneers or crowns.

The described technology is not even the future of orthopedic treatment. This is what we use in our clinic today.

In this way, you get not only a high-quality diagnosis, but also a comfortable and long-lasting treatment result.
